Emme has always been on the small side compared to her classmates. It’s no bother to her because it allows her to explore into the tight corners of the woods in her backyard.

No one can get her secret hideout spot where she keeps her treasures. the marble she found in her brother’s room and the stick that looks like a seashell are her favorites right now.

But she hears her mom calling her in for lunch, so she has to leave her hideout. She hopes its macaroni and cheese mixed with peas.
