Sherrie
This cord was originally dyed for another piece that failed spectacularly. I tried something new, and it was laughably bad. Wasn’t sure I could salvage it, but I didn’t want to waste the cord.
I tried some new flower designs, and I’m totally in love with how the colors swirled together. It has come back with lovely energy that has a life all its own.
Colors are shades of tan and splashes of blue.
It was the life she dreamed of. The one she and Gram had planned for and worked for. And she did it.
Gram would have been so proud. She also would have supported her with this change. Even though they both thought this would be the end all be all of careers, it wasn’t serving Sherrie anymore. She lost herself in it. She thought she loved it, but she was merely surviving.
So, she made a change. Like a 180 degree change. Oh boy, it was scary, but she had Gran’s voice in her head, pushing her through every scary new beginning.
Looking back, she knew it was the right thing to do. She just wished her Gran was there to share her new reality.
